Original CD Extravaganza!

Ivan and Ching Woon just bought the following Original CD from Gurney's Popular. This is their CD and thier review.

CHOPIN for lovers
Ching Woon: "Jay Chow is my Idol. And Chopin, he is my idol's idol! Wonderfully presented piano that are so emotionally engaged. Best to listen during afternoon, specially at the yumcha time :)"

Camomile Best Audio by Emi Fujita
Ivan: "This is a HiFi CD collector's dream at the cheapest price! These kind of CD, namely Hybrid SACD/CD (Super Audio CD) are usually sold above RM100. You can get Emi SACD for a ground breaking Rm52! If you have any HiFi system at home, this is a must buy. It is definately a steal."
Ivan even invites you to listen to this CD at his house :)

Essential Music
Ching Woon: "This CD is an essential collection for your living room. It plays soft, easy going songs which is ear and mood friendly."

Ipoh's Famous Bean Sprout Chicken Koay Teow @ Lou Wong

When one mention about Ipoh, everyone will think about the fresh air, nice 'dim sums', 'pamelos' and their all time famous Ipoh's Beansprout Chicken Rice. I must say, it is good :)

The chicken's meat is just nice; cooked to perfection retaining its juicy-ness. The sauce is just nice without the all too powering 'ajinomoto' taste. The meat balls are chewy and the chicken stock soup is sweet.

The beansprout is unlike those we have here in Penang. Their's are crunchier.... which compliments the chicken well. Everything else tasted super fresh.

Overall - I give it a 80/100.
The price is surprisingly cheaper than what we have here in Penang.
So, if anyone of you who are driving to KL this holiday season, do stop by Lou Wong in Ipoh for a nice dish of beansprout chicken koay teow or rice. ;)

Macedoine @ Queensbay

Grill Chicken:

Ching Woon: "An unexpectedly powerful olive oil taste. However tasted good and dont feel a pinch of oily."

Chicken Chop:

Ivan: "Big portion, however is just enough food for a big guy. Taste sweet with some black pepper flavouring the sauce. It scores 75/100, which is of quite a high standard for me, especially for food in this price range. "

Grill Fish:

Hock Soo: "Small portion. Look italian. Not bad at all. Just enough to fill my stomach for an hour or 2."
